Kitty Yarn Special
A downloadable game for Windows
As a pet cat, your ultimate goal is to get all the available back scratches in the level. If there aren't any, things might get dicey... Move your yarn ball around to get them! But be careful! The more you press a button, the faster you move!
Keep in mind: You only have one ball of yarn. This means that you'll have to restart the level if you lose it! This also means that depending on your mood, it may suddenly change size and/or speed.
There is no time limit at first; Just reach your scratch goal before you hit the wall. You'll find yourself against the clock eventually, so try to get every scratch in before it hits 0. If you find a level without any available scratches, just avoid any obstacles and preserve your yarn ball until the time runs out.

Great game! Took me a while, even on easy, to beat the cat scratch level. Game almost made me tear up at the end, it was CLOSE! Keep up the amazing work!

If you're struggling because the ball moves too fast, I guess just try to limit the amount of times you press an arrow key?
I literally did not mean to make this level that hard lol. Sorry about that, how many times have you tried just about?
Countless hahaha i really am trying to go with minimum amounts of presses i make, but what i thought a great improvement would be is adding 2 scratches at once and maybe you need more to collect. Because right now the game is so random but when there are 2 at all times you can plan your moves a little bit ahead which would make it a bit more interesting in my opinion
I don't know if it's too difficult or is it a skill issue, but for now i got 11 in level 2 and i'm stuck. I'll keep playing cause i wanna see further levels but so far, i would really love to be able to move with WASD also, like enabling both arrows and WASD would be perfect. Also the sounds are great but i hope the music was a bit more quiet and maybe more peaceful, would make a better fit. But thats just my opinion dunno haha
The game is entertaining but no matter how hard I try I can't get past level 3. An interesting idea with the way you control the ball, it looks like the experiment went well.
Very challenging game. The red level is very RNG. And the first 0 scratch level is very simple looking but it is very challenging. The dog (?) makes it hard, but I doubt I would last 20 seconds on an empty screen tbh. I need to get better at video games ...
Very pleasantly frustrating, in the perfect way. I intend to beat this eventually, very fun!
